I can express with no doubt my satisfaction with my stay at Rodamon Barcelona. It was one of the best hostels ever tried in my travelling experience, in terms of atmosphere, cleaning and location. The whole experience was beyond my expectations. for approx 300-320 euro (50-55 euro/night) I stayed for 6 nights on this hostel, money were worthy, as the hotel facilitates your experience in Barcelona at 360 degrees : - location: right in the heart if Eixample area, 3 minutes away from Diagonal metro (L3 & L5) 5 min by walk away from La Pedrera, and 10 min by walk away from Casa Batlo'. Perfectly connected. - Service & cleaning: a dirty place is a red flag for me: but no issue face here at Rodamon, the reception is super gentle and eager to give you support/information/solutions at any time (even when you forget your access card inside the room :) . A special thanks to Carina, Mercedes and the whole team. My room was in sharing with 3 other people, i spect a bit more to have a room with the bathroom inside because i feel more comfortable, the bathroom was small but functional. My roommates were extremely pleasant and lovely to stay with, i also made friendship with some (but this can be pure luck as-well). The bunk beds were comfortable and extremely clean, the staff provides with a big towel and a locker included in the price, and sheets/towel are replaced every 2-3 days max as far as i noticed. - Environment : the place was very lively and by my surprise for all 6 days i saw only calm and nice people walking around the common areas reading a book or working with the laptop (lots of digital nomads around here). People are generally eager to get to know you and i had some very interesting chats with individuals from all around the globe. There is a common area indoor and a beautiful and large inner veranda with tables, recliners for people to chill in open air.

The Central House offers very good accommodation for the price if you’re ready for sleeping in a dorm. The location is in a beautiful old building perfectly situated at the beginning of Passeig de Gràcia less than a 5 min walk to Diagonal metro station (L3), which makes it easily accessible when coming from the airport. Bathrooms and showers have been kept very tidy as the whole hotel itself. There is a lovely big terrace to sit outside while having breakfast, which is itself quite recommendable at a reasonable price. The personnel has been very helpful and charming. You could also get towels and a lock at low prices. The only downside is being in a dorm which turned out to be a bit uncomfortable as space is precious and there are small and noisy metal lockers only. If you don’t mind the latter this place is going to be perfect for you!

The location of the hostel is perfect! Close to transport so it was easy to go to the airport and barcelona sants station. You can walk or take transport to any of the sights and the neighborhood of gracia ia great for restaurants and bars. The staff was so helpful and kind. Mercedes was able to move me to a bottom bed, I was so grateful! The beds are all so comfortable for a hostel (!!) but I’m not good to climbing to the top. The first night people were noisy but the rest was rather silent and I slept so well. I stayed in the female dorm that was en suite but actually preferred the big shared bathroom right across the hall which was always very clean.

This is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. Modern, clean and spacious. Beds were clean and comfortable. Diego at reception was very helpful when my flight arrived late and emails were responded to promptly. There is a nice breakfast for 6 euros and free coffee in the morning. There is a large working area with natural light and a terrace. I would have happily stayed if a bed in a dorm had not gone up from 30 to 60 euros the next night (and 90 at the time of writing - this is a hostel is it not?!).

Jonathan

Clean and comfortable, blackout curtains in each bed that allow some privacy, nice terrace for summer and location-wise very central with easy access to metro. Supermarkets and restaurants close-by and there was a vending machine with water and snacks inside the hostel which was handy. I was working remotely during my stay and there was enough space with separate tables to work during the day and the wi-fi was sufficient for normal work including video calls, so no complaints in that regard.
